Richard Dominick is a self taught artist who is from the Hamilton/Burlington area in Ontario, Canada.

Richard is also known in his area for his unique cycles (recumbent bikes & trikes), which he calls "Sculptures in Motion".

He does earn a comfortable living as a full time artist. Most of his art is commissioned work (mainly portraits, which include people and pets). Richard creates a wide array of art in a variety of subjects. This makes his art more interesting, and gives his clients more to choose from. Richard works with pencil, acrylic, pastel, water colour and oil. But right now he works more with acrylic. Some of his paintings have won 1st and 2nd prize at various showings, and he has had two solo shows of his own.

Richard is a long time member of the Burlington Art Centre (BFAA) and a recent member of Arts Hamilton on King St.

Richard also has a love for sculpture, which mainly includes his cycles. He creates very unique recumbent cycles, with innovative designs in the mechanisms of the cycles. If you are ever in the Hamilton area, watch for him. You may see him cycling past you. Richard takes his cycling sculpture to the next level and enjoys racing them, and joins in on many group rides. He participates in cycling shows, including the Annual Bicycle Show at the Toronto Exhibition. Richard also belongs to various human-powered associations including HPTA Brant and HPV Builders.

Richard admits it's a great way to earn a living while keeping fit.
